Anthony is the new king in new york

Carmelo Anthony is been the best player the Knicks had in a long time they had Patrick Ewing decades ago. As Anthony tries to take the place as king in New York his second game with his team he loses to the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers coming into that game they were in a horrible slump. Some people think he could be the best player the Knicks have ever required. I think Patrick Ewing and Charles Oakley. Oakley averaged a double double and same for Ewing.

since 2007, eight pitchers with at least 800 innings lower than Cole Hamels' mark at 3.44. In that span of time only Tim Lincecum and Dan Haren have a higher strike out rate than Hamels with a 8.32 K/9. And only Haren and Halladay have a lower walk rat than Hamels' remarkable 2.21 BB/9.

Apparently because nobody looks at his amazing things that he made an outstanding 3.09 and 3.39 in 2007 and 2008 or his World Series M.V.P. They look at his 4.32.Even after all this people are still slow to notice.

can giants repeat?

what will happen to Pujols and the Cards

Since Albert Pujols wants ten years and $275 million. The only problems with that is that when the contract is up he will be 41 and the Cards already have four players making above ten million dollars. If they decide to let Pujols go they will get two picks in the amateur draft in 2012.

deadline feb. 16 for Pujols'

The St. Louis Cardinals are negotiating with Albert Pujols to try to find a reasonable contract. The problem is that they only have until Feb. 16. He wants ten years and he wants $275 million dollars so that is 27.5 million dollars a year. If Pujols decides to leave and sign with another team the Cards will get 2 picks in the amateur draft in 2012. Pujols last year was only a category away from the National League triple crown he was in the to five in R.B.I's. Albert Pujols is already 31 and if he gets the ten year contract and he is going to be 41. The Cards also might not be able to afford it because they have four other players making more than $.10 million dollars a year the players are Matt Holiday, Chris Carpenter, Kyle Lohse, and Adam Wainwright.

Donald Driver left the game early with an ankle injury. He had X-rays and they were negative but his return is questionable at the time. I think he will return to the game.

He has a career average of 320. 436 home runs and 1433 R.B.Is and in 2004 he received the A.L M.V.P award. Vlad is also a nine time All star. The Orioles also added Mark Reynolds at third base.Reynolds was third among all national league rookies in 2004. Reynolds also broke the all time season strike out record. The current record is still Mark Reynolds. He broke the record on September 25 in 2008 he struck out against Joel Pineira for his 200 strike out that season and he beat Ryan Howards previous record of 199. The Orioles also gained Derek Lee at first base. In 2005 Derek lee hit for a batting average of 376. he had 72 R.B.Is and 27 home runs at the half of the season. In mid season Derek Lee was among the top players in all three of the triple crown categories. The O's also signed J.J Hardy at shortstop. Justin Duchscherers best season was an amazing 14-2 season along with an E.R.A of 3.25. Kevin Greggs best season was when he had 32 saves in 36 save chances and an E.R.A of 3.54.
