The Texas Rangers have their first American league championship. Colby Lewis started pitching for the Rangers Phil Hughes started pitching for The Yankees. Lewis went 8.0 innings and he only gave up one run and gave up 3 hits. Hughes pitched 4.2 innings gave up 4 runs and 4 hits.
If the Phillies beat the Giants former President Bush will go to Philly to watch one of the World Series games.
ReplyDeleteWhile I was pulling for the Yankees to win, you have to give credit to the Rangers for the way they played these games. With the Phillies losing last night, the TV Networks must be on a real downer knowing that the World Series will not contain either of the 2009 great teams.
