March Madness round three

The Washington Huskies are knocked out by the North Carolina Tar heels. The top scorers were Tyler Zeller with 23 points and Harrison Barnes with 22 points, both players were for UNC. There was 1.1 seconds on the clock and the officials gave then only five tenths of a second. The final score was Huskies 83, and the Tar heels 86.

The Michigan Wolverines are knocked out by the Duke Blue Devils. The score was Michigan 71, and the Blue Devils 73. The top scorer was Nolan Smith with 24 for the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils will face the Arizona Wildcats in the sweet sixteen.

The George Mason Patriots lost to the Ohio State Buckeyes by 32 points the score was 98-66. The top scorer was David Lighty with 25 points for the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes advance to the sweet sixteen.

The Texas Longhorns get knocked out by the Arizona Wildcats. The top scorer was J'Covan Brown with 23 points for the Longhorns. The final score was Wildcats with 70 and the Longhorns with 69. The Arizona Wildcats are going to sweet sixteen to face the Duke Blue Devils.

The Virgina commonwealth rams beat the Purdue Boilermakers. The top scorer was JaJuan Johnson with 25 points for the Boilermakers. The final score was Rams 94 and the boilermakers 76. The rams are in the sweet sixteen against Florida state.

The Florida State Seminoles be the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for a trip to the sweet sixteen. The top scorer was Tim Abromaitis with 21 points for the fighting Irish. The final score was the fighting Irish with 57 and the Seminoles with 71.

The Marquette Golden Eagles beat the Syracuse Orange and they are headed to the sweet sixteen. The top scorer was Dion Waitors with 18 points for the the Orange. The final score was very close. The score was the Orange 62, and the Golden Eagles with 66.

The Kansas Jayhawks beat the Illinois Fighting Illini to go the sweet sixteen, The top scorer was Markieff Morris with 24 for the Jayhawks. The final scrore was, the Jayhawks 71,and the Fighting Illini 59.

  1. There were a lot of close games this past weekend and more than a few upsets. Made for very interesting viewing.
