The Los Angeles Clippers had the worst record for a single season at the time with a record of 12-70. Then six years the Dallas Mavericks went 11-71 on the season. Five years later the Nuggets went 11-71. Then twelve years later the New Jersey Nets went 11-71.
Very interesting....this seems to happen in every sport but the actual records look worse in basketball than the other big 3 sports.
