deadline feb. 16 for Pujols'

The St. Louis Cardinals are negotiating with Albert Pujols to try to find a reasonable contract. The problem is that they only have until Feb. 16. He wants ten years and he wants $275 million dollars so that is 27.5 million dollars a year. If Pujols decides to leave and sign with another team the Cards will get 2 picks in the amateur draft in 2012. Pujols last year was only a category away from the National League triple crown he was in the to five in R.B.I's. Albert Pujols is already 31 and if he gets the ten year contract and he is going to be 41. The Cards also might not be able to afford it because they have four other players making more than $.10 million dollars a year the players are Matt Holiday, Chris Carpenter, Kyle Lohse, and Adam Wainwright.
