Haynesworth+assault=court

The Washington Redskins Defensive Tackle Albert Haynesworth has been charged with misdemeanor assault from what the police say was an alleged road raged encounter in which he threw a punch at a fellow motorist in a Washington D.C, suburb.

Country police say the twenty nine year old haynesworth and his attorney appeared at a police station on Saturday. Then Haynesworth signed a summons warrant charging him with assault and then he left the station.

He will appear in court on March thirty first.

This happened on February second. The police said that there was a thirty eight year old man who told an investigator that he was assaulted by a man in a pick-up truck who was tailgating him. They found out that the driver was Haynesworth.

  1. I would say Haynesworth isn't a very good role model.

  2. It would really be good for sports if this man would just GO AWAY somewhere........maybe jail is the best place for him. He certainly is not a role model any parent would want their child to look up to.
