Morneau's three run double

Justin Morneau hit a three run double after coming back from a concussion in Tuesdays spring training game.

The 2006 AL MVP was at first base a day after he received medical clearance from his doctor following an hour-long conversation."We figured now is as good a time as any to see if my body was ready for this." Morneau said. Justin will have the day off tomorrow.

Morneau was against the Pittsburg Pirates when he hit the three run double. He grounded into a fielders choice his first time up and he hit the double in his second at bat. The double he hit was right down the line into right field.

He suffered the injury in early July after the All-star break. He kneed in the head when he was sliding into second base he has been recovering slowly for the past eight months.
