Piazza looking for team

Mike Piazza former player for the New York Mets and he is looking to buy a team. He was looking to be like Nolan Ryan. He is considering becoming an owner.

Mike Piazza holds the record for most Career home runs by a catcher with 427. He also had 1335 RBI's and also had 2127 hits in his career. His rookie year was in 1992 and he ended his career in 2007. In the 2003 season he played catcher and first basemen.

He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers then seven years later he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays. Then traded back to the Dodgers a year later, his next season he was traded to the Marlins. Then he was traded to the New York Mets. After eight years with the mets he was traded to the Padres. Then a year later he was traded to the Athletics for his last season.

He appeared in 8 play-off series and had an average of 242, 6 home runs, and 15 RBI's. He has only gone one season in his M.L.B career with no errors and it was the year when he was injured the whole season.

"I never say never. You see Nolan Ryan getting involved. And I've heard of other players, in the future, wanting to get involved in ownership. I just think everything is a timing thing. It's an interesting time in the game, and there's a lot of change going on. You just don't know what situation will pop up. As far as anything on the forefront? Nothing. Down the line? We'll see."

  1. Mike was always a favorite player of mine. In part because he grew up in PA but mostly because he always played at 100% and never left his fans feeling like he didn't give his all!
